Plant Profiles

Today in the Garden of a Lifetime: Lady of the Night, flushed, indeed.

As long as the weather is warm and sunny, Lady of the Night blooms in waves, with flushes of extraordinarily long and fragrant trumpet flowers.  As a container plant summered outdoors, August begins my Lady's peak season.  Now through October, she becomes flushed about every three weeks.

One trumpet has opened; the rest will open in a day or so.  En masse, the display (as well as the fragrance) is flabbergasting.
