Meet Coral | Plant Lover, Content Creator & Editor
Hello! I’m Coral, one of the writers for Louis The Plant Geek. I want to be honest with you. I’ve killed some succulents. I didn’t mean to. I was trying my best not to! But when I first got started with these desert gems, I made some classic mistakes:
I thought “water sparingly” meant water a little bit every day.
I was pretty sure drainage was optional.
I used the same soil for my succulents that I used for my garden flowers.
It’s ok. By now, I’ve propagated WAY more succulents than I ever killed. As the years have gone by, I’ve not only learned how not to kill these fascinating plants, but how to make them thrive, flower, and produce more pups than I know what to do with.
Every time I find a new fertilizing technique, learn about a new species, or deal with a pest, I write about it on Succulent Plant Hub.
Whether you’ve got a huge succulent collection and you’re trying to learn how to care for a new rare variety, or you’re just getting started with your first-ever succulent, you’ll learn everything you need to know here.
And I’m going to tell you right now– caring for succulent plants is just the beginning of the fun. Wait until you join me in designing a succulent fairy garden, creating a framed succulent wall, or building a succulent rock garden. You’re going to be as hooked as I am.
